Moje Bambino Case Study

The biggest challenge during the project was to build a modern e-commerce system that is adapted to the demanding environment of the household sector.

Moje Bambino Company

The company is a market leader in the provision of equipment for educational facilities, with five production facilities in Poland and covering the whole of Central Europe, offering furniture, teaching aids and multimedia equipment.

What were the collaboration assumptions?

  • The client is actively involved in the development of the online shop - has its own development team providing some of the solutions
  • On the basis of the mojebambino.pl shop, separate instances are created for all customer markets, e.g. insgraf.de
  • The platform must be flexible, individual markets have their own technological solutions

The Client's Biggest Challenges

Exploiting the company's available sales potential in the education market by:

  • Reaching out to non-technical staff in educational institutions
  • Presentation of the product range in various ways to also reach the B2C customer
  • Presentation of potential applications of the products offered
  • Enabling an easy transition from paper catalogues to an online shop
  • Most of the traffic is from computers and not mobile which is the opposite of market standards

How did we do it?

Double navigation

In order to make it easy to find the product range, we have opted for dual navigation. We can reach the products both by finding the type of establishment we are interested in, such as nurseries, kindergartens or schools, or the type of product, such as furniture, toys or multimedia equipment. Additionally, in the case of products, we have implemented an advanced category search.

Arrangements

To make it easier for the administrators of educational establishments to equip the rooms, the shop has ready-made arrangements of entire rooms, presented in the form of photos of ready-made rooms with marked products available in the shop, the buyer can add individual products or the entire arrangement to the basket. Inspirations

In addition to facilitating the work of school and kindergarten principals in arranging the premises, the shop also has facilities for teachers in the form of, for example, ideas for children's artwork, we can find instructions and photos of the work to be done together with a list of the products needed.

Advanced shopping lists

Purchasing equipment for educational facilities is often a multi-stage process involving a large number of people, and to meet this need, we have created the option of saving products on multiple shopping lists, which can be sent to a supervisor who can copy the products onto their list and then order them, or, for example, print them out and send them to the local authority.

Extended product descriptions

Besides the product itself, MojeBambino, as a hardware manufacturer, must also present all the advantages of its hardware to the potential buyer and also allow him to download software or teaching aids. Full preview of the extended description.

Calculators

The calculators are designed to help organisations control their budgets. Once a budget has been set, the customer can enter it into the system and, when selecting products from the programme, can see the funds that have already been allocated to the necessary teaching aids. https://mojebambino.pl/21/Kalkulatory

Catalogues

Let's protect the forests of the amazon, and with this maxim in mind, we have jointly developed the OnLine Catalogues as a successor to the traditional product catalogues with thousands of pages traditionally sent to educational establishments. The catalogues have multiple modes of display (single or double page), allow products to be added to the shopping basket or shopping list, zoom in on a given page, printouts, and we can also navigate by entering the page number, viewing thumbnails of pages or using the table of contents. The entire mechanism enables the catalogue to be generated from an uploaded PDF file, automatically reading each page and navigating.

Redesigned registration form

Due to the specifics of the B2G shop, we had to modify the purchase form; the purchaser could be the educational team, the recipient the primary school that is part of the team and the payer the municipality.
